I tried many recovery software programs to recover the photos with no luck. Memory Card Lock Broken Make sure the Lock switch is slid up (unlock position). And blamo! The RAM balloon is ready to be deflated by this amount.

Today I got the error again and nothing was working, so just as my mom completed an order for a new Polaroid brand SD card, I came across this site. Formatting the card in the camera will correct both these problems, BUT it will also erase all photos on the card. you're genius! Copy that file (mmcstore.txt) to your PC and open it in Notepad 5.

Since the card wasn't recognized by camera, I couldn't use it to format the card.
